Stairs Are Becoming More Popular

For the first 18 months that we built these beds, most people were content with using the ends of the beds as ladders to get into the top bed.  Then, we were asked to make a "notch" in the ladder at the top for easier access for smaller children (see the previous blog post).  Now, more and more frequently, the stairs are being asked for.  For more pictures of the stairs, please see Stairs For Our Bunk Beds

We are a "Ma and Pa" bunk bed company.  Since we build beds at our home, our overhead cost are minimal.  We pass the savings on to you so you can cut cost.

Please contact us for an appointment to see a bed or to talk about a customized bed we can build for you.

Here are some samples of what we build.

As Requested

Several asked us to put a "notch" in the ladder, so that the child doesn't have to climb over.

So, as requested, you can order your bed to be made with the "notch" on either end of the bed.

Trundle Beds Added to Options

This roll out trundle bed rolls independently on heavy-duty casters - no tracking systems to break!

It fits under a bed that is at least 12" off the floor.

The full size trundle is made from 2" x 4" and 2" x 8" pine.

Note:  The average mattress thickness for a trundle bed is 6".  You can use up to a 7" thick mattress with this bed, but 6" thick is best.

Pictured is a full trundle under a full bed.  Check here for pricing

Wow!  We've been amazed with the response for bunk beds.  And thanks for all the kind words from our customers.

We really appreciate it when you send us pictures since we don't often get to see the finished product completely assembled.
